Chef Philippe Boulot on the Deschutes

Each year for the past five years my guides and I have donated a trip to the Native Fish Society.  The trip is known as "Drift into Green Valley" and is auctioned at their annual Homewaters dinner.

Four anglers, accompanied by Don Lange of Lange Estate Winery and Vineyards, float from Warm Springs to a private take out at Green Valley Farms on the Lower Deschutes.  The trip is timed to fish the salmonfly hatch during prime time.

River Runner Outfitters donates the guided trip, Lange donates the wine (and three days of their time), the McKinley's donate their beautiful property, and chef Philippe Bolout (Executive Chef at Multnomah Athletic Club) donates his culinary expertise for three days.
